What isi it you would like to know about Lt. Robert Stricker?
His plane/crew was shot down 13 Feb 1945 while on a bombing mission to Vienna, Austria.  According to the MACR, they received a direct hit in the # 4 engine, with then engine falling off the wing.  The plane made a 180 degree turn and seemed to be under control until it went out of sight of the witnesses to the event.

This MACR was/is in very poor condition, virtually unreadable for the most part.  I don't know about Lt Stricker being KIA as a POW.  I would have to take your word on that because I have no information regarding that.

They were flying A/C # 44-6163 and flying in the Able # 2 position of the formation.  I can provide you  with the names of the crew members:
Pilot:  Lt Phillip N. Whitman
Co-Pilot: Lt Leon H. Drake, Jr.
Navigator: Lt Ferdinand C. Thiel, Jr.
Bombardier:  Lt Robert Stricker
Top Turret/Eng:  T/Sgt Robert Driver
Radio Operator/Gnr:  T/Sgt James Sanders
Left Waist Gnr:  S/Sgt James McPadden
Right Waist Gnr: S/Sgt Charles McDonald
Ball Turret Gnr:  S/Sgt Lester Smith
Tail Gnr:  S/Sgt Charles Anderson, Jr.
I can also provide you with most, if not all, of the missions that Lt Stricker flew during his tour of duty.  Just let me know if that is something that would be of interest or value to your memorial to him.

I have some additional informations about the fate of Robert Striker as he and 4 others of his crew were murdered not far away from the place where their plane had crashed.
I have a few dozens pages about the whole case. If you are interested in that send me a PM.
What I would need is background regarding the crew as the MACR is really in a poor condition.

Sounds like you have just what I am looking for.  Would love to see what you have about Lt. Stricker's fate.  And I am also looking for info about the reported (but unconfirmed) trial of Franz Blauensteiner for his role.

Never did hear from Georg.

Would welcome a list of missions that Stricker was on.  With thanks.

Swindy, do the names Hoke or LaFollette mean anything to you?  Hines is not a big place, and you may know some of my friends.
Attached is my latest project, a 43 GPW.  In a sec, I'll post what is on the dash - relates to Stricker.

I can gather the listing of all of Lt Robert Stricker's missions which would include date of mission, target city, specific target, a/c flown, formation position and crew composition by position on the aircraft.  Send me a PM with your email address and I'll begin gathering that info for you.

I also have a set of documents regarding the trial procedures by the Headquarters, United States Forces in Austria, Office of the Judge Advocate, War Crimes Branch, APO 777, U.S. Army.  I don't know if these are the documents you are referring to about Franz Blauensteiner but his name is used many times in the transcripts.  I cannot share them with you because of a promise I made to the brother of Lt Robert Stricker that I would keep them in confidence until such a time as he released me from the promise.  He has not done so as yet.  But I will tell you that Blauensteiner was definitely involved.  I wish I could share them but until Jerry says its OK, I will not release them.

Send me your email address.
